Badminton Vereniging Almere (BVA) proudly presents the Almere Gezelligheids Tournament on Saturday, April 18, 2026 – a sporty and accessible doubles and mixed doubles tournament where fun, fair play, and exciting matches take center stage.
The tournament is open to players aged 16 and over, both league players and recreational players, who are members of a club affiliated with Badminton Netherlands. Thanks to a clear and fair ranking system, pairs are divided into A, B, and C levels, ensuring that everyone competes against opponents of a similar standard.
Events include Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. The competition format consists of group stages followed by semi-finals and finals, guaranteeing multiple matches for every participant. All matches are played using the rally point system (best-of-three games to 21 points).
